Stahlbush Island Farms is my new favorite frozen food brand. I love the packaging - craft paper colored bags with a purple and green logo and an artistic drawing of what's inside. But more than the packaging, I love that I have an alternative to Cascadian Farms. Stahlbush Island Farms is located in Oregon (yes, it's far away) and is a family-owned farm and food processing operation that is committed to sustainable agriculture. Plus, Tracy, who works at Stahlbush posted on Caroline's Lunchbox on January 27 and of course, that won me over! I just wish that I could find more of their frozen foods in our area. Our local food co-op only carries cauliflower, rhubarb, sweet potatoes, and spinach. In today's lunch? Stahlbush Island Farms sweet potatoes.
